Max Payne 3

Review and Gameplay

Max Payne 3 is developed by Rockstar Studios the guys that brought games such as (Grand Theft Auto and L.A Noire). It is available for Ps3 and Xbox360. It cost about €45 in most game shops but in some stores the cost is almost €60.

The game is a third person shooter in which you can see the Character with over the shoulder camera unlike (Call of duty games which are FPS). The biggest thing I liked about the game is the return of the bullet-time. Nothing better than Busting into a room and seeing exactly where all the bullets are going. A new thing is the Last man standing which give you a second chance as when you lose all your health you can use painkillers to regain your health.

The Famous Max Payne dives look much better this game, for example after you make your dive you can stay grounded after dive and then shoot 360 degrees around. Max Payne 3 looks a lot more realistic than the previous Max Payne games.

New to the series are cinematic action movements, interactive cut scenes which transition seamlessly into continuing gameplay. Moreover there are no loading screens across gameplay and cut scenes.

Multiplayer

The online mode is not to bad but I just found it hard to get kills I just don’t like playing Third Person Shooters online that much, however the maps do seem to change dynamically change within a match.

Conclusion

So all in all the game is fairly good as the story seems to be very well played out and the controls seem to be easy to get the hang off.
